Apprenticeship as an Industrial Mechanic (m/f/d)

You ensure that machines and production systems function reliably. You manufacture components, assemble complex systems and take care of maintenance, servicing and repairs - making sure everything operates smoothly in production.

During the business simulation week, our trainees can take on responsibility right from the start, contribute their own ideas and experience management decisions in a practical setting. Presentation training, teamwork and sporting activities strengthen team spirit and provide a welcome break.

Duration of the apprenticeship:

1st year (Foundations)

You get to know the basics of metalworking as well as how to use tools and machinery.

2nd year (Advanced training)

Tasks become more complex and you deepen your knowledge in manufacturing and assembly.

  • Part 1 final exam: Usually towards the end of the second year. It assesses your current level of knowledge.

3rd/4th year (Specialization and completion)

You work independently on projects and become a professional.

  • Part 2 final exam: The final exam takes place at the end of the program. After that, you are a fully qualified Industrial Mechanic.
